CHANL has recently acquired a new FTIR system that can be operated as a conventional FTIR, or the infrared light can be sent to a microscope for small spot FTIR measurements in either transmission or reflection modes. We also have ATR accessories for both the conventional and microscope sides of the instrument. The rates for use are shown below, and we will start charging for time on this system on February 1st (tomorrow).
Conventional FTIR – $15/hr (UNC & NCSU); $23/hr (non-UNC academic); $30/hr (industry)
Microscope FTIR – $20/hr (UNC & NCSU); $30/hr (non-UNC academic); $40/hr (industry)
