In early 2020, CHANL will install two new instruments. The AFM-IR is currently being installed (early-Jan). The EasyLift will arrive late-Jan. Both instruments should be available to users sometime in February.
AFM-IR – Bruker nanoIR3: Atomic force microscopy-based infrared spectroscopy (AFM-IR) provides chemical and compositional mapping with spatial resolution (10nm) below conventional optical diffraction limits. (Details)
FIB lift-out – FEI Easylift Nanomanipulator: This is an add-on to the FIB Helio system, and allows for extraction of site-specific ulta-thin lamellae and attaching to TEM grids. (Datasheet)
